Fireside Chai Yarn Bowl

I call this drippy glazed yarn bowl with warm russet and pink hues over a creamy base fireside chai. Comforting tones to make you want to want to create till your heart’s content.  The pink and cream glazes are on a speckled clay body. Wheel thrown, and left with substantial bottom weight to hold up well to the pulling of yarn. It is approximately 6”wide at the base, with a tapered opening of 4” wide.  Wheel thrown and crafted from a stoneware clay that has been twice fired, with a glaze firing to just below 2200 degrees.
