Peacock Glazed Bowl

This wheel thrown bowl is crafted from stoneware clay and twice fired to temperatures up to 2200 degrees.  The bowl is glazed in the peacock technique of glazing with 6 different glazes that run and intermingle during the firing. The dish is a large and deep cereal sized bowl, measuring approximately 5” in diameter and is slightly over 3” tall.
